Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Advisory Suite team. This team builds core investment management engines used by advisors, including portfolio rebalancing, trade aggregation, tax lot accounting and optimization, and fixed income analytics. You will design, implement, and scale backend services that deliver accurate, high-performance financial functionality to production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for portfolio rebalancing algorithms, trade aggregation (for example VWAP and TWAP), tax lot accounting, and fixed income modeling and yield computation.
• Translate financial and product requirements into robust, production-grade code with attention to numerical accuracy and time-series data handling.
• Collaborate with product, data, and other engineering teams to convert business and financial logic into performant, maintainable systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and sprint planning to drive delivery and quality.
• Contribute to scaling strategies and observability practices, including tracing, alerting, and dashboards to ensure reliability and operational excellence.
• Help evolve testing, release, and monitoring patterns to minimize regressions and ensure correctness for complex financial calculations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience building backend systems at scale.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and systems design, with a pragmatic approach to performance and correctness.
• Proven experience writing clean, maintainable, and testable code in Go.
• Familiarity with financial systems, trading, or portfolio analytics is a strong plus, including exposure to VWAP, TWAP, tax lot accounting, or fixed income concepts like yield curves and duration.
• Experience working with time-series data and a focus on numerical accuracy for financial calculations.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, agile environment and collaborating across distributed teams.
