About the role
We are hiring a Sales Director focused on the Oil & Gas industry to source, nurture, and close new clients. This is a hunter role that targets midsize and enterprise energy customers, including Oil & Gas, Renewables, and Utilities. The role is remote and emphasizes relationship building, strategic selling, and end-to-end deal execution.
What you'll do
- Hunting: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize to enterprise clients in the Energy sector, originating new business opportunities.
- Present BairesDev's value proposition to senior executives, tailoring proposals to client needs and digital transformation goals.
- Scope projects and shape engagements, defining technology solutions that achieve client business outcomes.
- Plan and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet revenue targets and goals.
- Coordinate resources and mobilize cross-functional teams including solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery through the sales cycle.
- Identify and mitigate project and commercial risks through tactical plans and actions.
What we are looking for
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or related industrial sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and enterprise accounts within energy markets.
- Strong industry knowledge of key players, business models, sub-verticals, needs, and trends in Oil & Gas and Energy.
- Strategic, creative, and analytical mindset with an ability to initiate and grow client relationships.
- Strong presentation skills, detail orientation, and deadline-driven execution.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and fluent in English or fully bilingual.
Preferred
- Experience with operational systems, data management, and common technology challenges in the Oil & Gas industry.
