Role Overview

Atticus is hiring a Head of Account Management to lead and scale the Account Management function inside our Lawyer Network. You will be a player-coach who manages a team of Account Managers, sets KPIs and playbooks, and drives performance and process improvements that increase partner success, client outcomes, and firm conversion rates. This role supports Atticus's mission of matching people in crisis with high-quality law firms and improving intake, follow-up, and client conversion across our network.

What You’ll Do - First 90 Days

  • Take ownership of a team of 5+ Account Managers, learn their books of business, observe calls, and identify coaching opportunities.
  • Set clear KPIs and interim metrics, and work with business operations to implement dashboards and reporting.
  • Audit current tools and workflows including Salesforce, Front, and DocuSign, and flag gaps or quick wins.

What You’ll Do - After 90 Days

  • Scale the team by hiring, onboarding, and continuously developing high-performing AMs as volume grows.
  • Build standardized playbooks and processes for cadences, QBRs, escalation paths, and service models.
  • Drive AM performance with data-driven coaching, call listening, shadowing, and structured feedback loops.
  • Own a 12-18 month roadmap for Account Management that aligns with Atticus’s broader goals and secures cross-functional buy-in.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and grow an Account Management team serving law firms across the country.
  • Design and implement scalable processes, playbooks, and dashboards to improve partner outcomes and retention.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Ops, and Legal to resolve systemic issues and improve firm workflows and conversion.
  • Be hands-on with account management tasks as needed while building the function for scale.

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years managing Account Management or Customer Success teams that serve SMB clients, preferably in a marketplace or tech-enabled services company.
  • Proven experience scaling AM or CSM functions through process, metrics, and dashboards.
  • Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, and retain high-performing AMs in a fast-growing environment.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present coaching feedback, decks, and operational updates clearly.
  • Tool savvy - comfortable with Salesforce basics, call-recording analytics, ticketing or CS platforms.
  • Thrives on ambiguity and ownership - able to design playbooks and ship solutions with limited structure.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with marketplaces, law firm operations, or tech-enabled services.
  • Prior exposure to Salesforce admin tasks, call analytics, or similar operational tooling.

Compensation and Benefits

The expected base salary band for this role is $140,000 to $180,000 USD, plus equity and benefits. Final offers depend on experience and fit. Atticus offers a generous benefits package including:

Work Model
