Role Overview
Atticus is hiring a System Administrator to own and operate core IT and cloud infrastructure that enables the company to help people in crisis. You will manage Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, administer user access and SSO across key tools, manage macOS devices via MDM, monitor security posture, and lead vendor and incident management to ensure reliable, secure operations for a fast-growing startup.

What You Will Do
- Cloud and workspace management - Operate and manage Google Cloud Platform resources and Google Workspace administration.
- Access control - Administer user access, permissions, and single sign-on for tools like Salesforce and Twilio using least privilege principles.
- Endpoint management - Provision and manage employee devices primarily running macOS using MDM tools such as Kandji.
- Security and monitoring - Monitor systems for risks and vulnerabilities, improve security posture, and assist with audits and compliance controls.
- Vendor ownership - Evaluate, configure, manage, and license third party tools while managing vendor relationships.
- Onboarding and support - Handle onboarding and offboarding with precision, provide fast end-user support, and document processes for scale.
- Disaster recovery - Maintain and improve disaster recovery, backup, and audit processes.
- Cybersecurity - Help shape and execute Atticus's security strategy and incident response plans.
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience as a System Administrator, ideally at a startup or mid-size company.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace administration.
- Experience supporting macOS devices and managing them via MDM tools such as Kandji or similar.
- Familiarity with user access and SSO administration for tools like Salesforce and Twilio.
- Comfort with network troubleshooting, security best practices, and IT audits.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and multitasking skills, with clear communication and collaboration abilities.
- Scrappy, independent problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience in Agile or DevOps environments.
- Additional experience with cloud platforms, infrastructure automation, or security tooling.

Compensation and Benefits
Anticipated base salary range: $110,000 - $150,000 USD, plus equity and benefits. Atticus offers a generous benefits package to support health, learning, and remote work:

Work Model
