Role Overview

Passion.io is hiring a Senior Full Stack JavaScript Engineer to build scalable, high-performance web and mobile applications while exploring AI-driven features. You will own end-to-end solutions across frontend and backend, contributing to product design, system architecture, and infrastructure to support a growing creator platform.

What You Can Expect

• Full stack ownership - Build and maintain applications using React, React Native, Node.js, and GraphQL for Web, iOS, and Android.
• End-to-end solutions - Design and optimize backend services, APIs, and microservices while also contributing to pixel-perfect UIs and a great user experience.
• AI features - Collaborate on optional AI-powered functionality using APIs such as OpenAI or Gemini.
• Infrastructure impact - Work with AWS to keep systems secure, scalable, and performant.
• Code quality - Improve and maintain a clean, efficient, and maintainable codebase.
• Mentorship - Guide junior engineers and drive technical innovation across the team.

Requirements

• Experience - 5+ years in JavaScript development with strong knowledge of React, TypeScript, Node.js, and React Native.
• Full stack - Proven experience building both frontend and backend systems in production.
• GraphQL - Proficiency with GraphQL APIs and related tooling.
• Architecture - Solid understanding of microservices architecture and designing scalable backends.
• Product mindset - You think about the why behind the code and prioritize user experience and product outcomes.

What We’re Looking For - Bonus Points

• Experience building AI models or advanced AI features.
• Strong AWS and infrastructure skills.
• Basic DevOps experience such as CI/CD, monitoring, or deployment pipelines.
• A sharp design intuition and strong UX/UI polish.
