Role Overview

We are hiring a Community Manager to lead engagement across public and private creator communities. You will design experiences that spark conversations, deepen relationships, and drive measurable growth and retention for creators. This role blends moderation, program design, events, partner relations, and operational reporting to build communities people actually want to be in.

Responsibilities

  • Moderate discussions, threads, and live chats to keep conversations flowing and on brand.
  • Create a positive, motivating vibe where every member feels seen and supported.
  • Provide timely answers to product questions, escalate complex issues, and work with Product and Success teams to resolve problems.
  • Design and host challenges, competitions, gamified experiences, virtual events, and meetups that drive engagement and retention.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product on campaigns, launches, and community-driven growth initiatives.
  • Track engagement, sentiment, and community health metrics, then act on insights to improve outcomes.
  • Build relationships with influencers, advocates, and superfans, and turn member wins into public celebrations.
  • Create and enforce community guidelines, propose content updates, and contribute feedback to cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 2+ years managing large online communities (5,000+ members).
  • Strong project management skills and experience with community platforms and social tools.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and enforcing community guidelines and running engagement programs.
  • Comfortable handling product support questions in community, and escalating when needed.
  • Fluent written communication, excellent tone and voice, and the ability to keep conversations positive under pressure.
  • Familiarity with engagement metrics and community health reporting, with a data-informed approach to programming.
  • Flexibility for some North American and EU time zone overlap to support global community activity.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proven track record of building measurable engagement strategies and driving revenue through community channels.
  • Experience in marketing, business, or coaching spaces.
  • Experience designing gamification, challenges, or hosting online events and meetups.
  • Experience building partnerships with advocates or influencers.
