We are seeking a Finance Manager who will keep our financial engine running while building scalable systems that support the company's next stage of growth.

What you will own

You will combine hands-on finance operations with strategic oversight to ensure accuracy, insight, and leadership across the finance function. This is a high-impact role that blends day-to-day stewardship with process improvement and team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Financial stewardship - lead accounting, consolidation, and month-end reconciliations to ensure books are accurate and compliant.
• Operational ownership - manage payroll, vendor payments, virtual spend programs, and other finance operations with precision and timeliness.
• Reporting and insights - translate reconciliations and accounting data into actionable management reports and strategic insights for leadership.
• Process improvement - identify inefficiencies and lead projects to implement tools and automated workflows that scale finance operations.
• Team leadership - manage, mentor, and develop at least one direct report, fostering a high-performance, collaborative finance culture.
• Tooling and transitions - lead finance ops projects such as payroll tool transitions, accounting automation, and integrations with platforms like Bill.com, Ramp, or QuickBooks.

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, with proven experience in accounting, analysis, and reporting.
• 2+ years experience in finance operations covering payroll, vendor payments, and reconciliations.
• Certification such as CA(SA), CIMA, CPA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting designation.
• Experience managing and mentoring at least one team member.
• High attention to detail with the ability to connect detailed accounting work to strategic business outcomes.
• Advanced spreadsheet skills, especially Google Sheets, and comfort building reports and reconciliations collaboratively.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment and collaborating across time zones.

Nice to have

• SaaS or tech industry experience.
• Hands-on knowledge of QuickBooks, Bill.com, Ramp, or payroll platforms.
• Familiarity with reporting dashboards such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience leading finance operations projects and automation initiatives.
