The Role

We are hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead our P2P payments product. You will define and execute a global payments roadmap for Coinbase's flagship consumer product, focusing on real-world crypto payments that are fast, interoperable, and consumer friendly. You will size opportunities, build consumer growth strategies, and partner closely with design, engineering, growth, and compliance to ship features that scale to millions of users.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, and execution for a major payments product area end to end, from discovery to launch and iteration.
• Define and execute a global roadmap for peer-to-peer and cross-border payments, prioritizing high-impact real-world use cases for crypto payments and utility.
• Design and run consumer growth strategies including referral programs, social growth loops, and other network effects to drive adoption and engagement.
• Partner with design, engineering, data, and growth to deliver seamless, user-friendly payment flows that scale globally.
• Proactively address fraud, risk, and compliance tradeoffs while preserving a great user experience.
• Use data to size opportunities, prioritize experiments, and measure impact on financial and product metrics.

What We Look For

• 8+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record of shipping consumer products at global scale.
• 3+ years launching successful products in payments, fintech, DeFi, or similarly complex domains.
• Proven product vision and execution skills, translating bold ideas into delightful, measurable features.
• Experience driving consumer growth, especially referral programs, viral mechanics, or social engagement.
• Strong analytical skills for market sizing, opportunity assessment, and converting data into product insights.
• Ability to lead cross-functional work, align stakeholders including compliance and risk, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Relentless user obsession and focus on building intuitive, trustworthy payment experiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience in crypto payments or familiarity with stablecoins such as USDC.
• Background in fraud prevention, risk management, or payment compliance.
• Hands-on experience with onchain concepts such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, ENS, Solana, or Lightning.

Pay and Compensation

Pay Range: $207,485 - $244,100 USD (target annual salary shown). Full time offers from Coinbase may also include target bonus, target equity, and benefits. Exact compensation will vary by candidate and location.

Location and Work Style
