Role Overview

We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Frontend to own feature development across Phantom's web platforms, including the Phantom Extension and website. You will lead initiatives to add support for additional blockchains, ship new products and infrastructure, work directly with users and third-party developers to gather feedback, and help grow a high-performing engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end feature development for web platforms and the browser extension.
• Lead new initiatives to add multi-chain support and launch complementary products or infrastructure.
• Interface directly with end users and developers to collect feedback and improve product direction.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, and design to deliver scalable, secure, and performant features.
• Contribute to team culture and hiring, raising the bar with each new hire.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience working with frontend technologies.
• Proficiency with React and modern JavaScript tooling.
• Experience with TypeScript and data fetching libraries, such as React-Query.
• Familiarity with blockchain libraries like Solana web3.js and ethers.js is highly relevant.
• Strong communication skills and demonstrated interest in open, community-driven platforms.
• English language proficiency.
• Nice to have: Prior experience working on a blockchain-based project or crypto product.

Compensation and Benefits

The target base salary for this role ranges from $180,000 to $220,000, plus equity and benefits. Exact compensation depends on experience, location, and interview results. Benefits include:
