Role Overview
SafetyWing is looking for an Independent Agent Sales Lead to design, launch, and scale a global, commission-only independent agent sales organization for Remote Health. This freelance, fully remote role focuses on recruiting, onboarding, enabling, and motivating licensed independent agents to drive rapid revenue growth through an agent channel.

What You Will Do
- Design and launch - Architect a commission-only independent agent channel for Remote Health, including compensation models, governance, and operational playbooks.
- Recruit and onboard - Recruit, certify, onboard, and motivate licensed insurance agents across target markets to achieve ambitious sales goals.
- Scale operations - Build scalable systems, processes, and playbooks to support rapid expansion, with a target of 1,000 active agents within two years.
- Enablement - Leverage tools like HubSpot, Apollo, and Gong, and partner with legal and HR so agents can focus on selling.
- Training and quality - Ensure agents are trained to represent SafetyWingβs values and sell Remote Health effectively, maintaining high quality and compliance.
- Performance management - Monitor agent performance, iterate on onboarding and retention approaches, and optimize compensation and operational models.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in B2B insurance sales and deep knowledge of independent agent networks.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, onboard, and scale licensed insurance agents.
- Highly autonomous, entrepreneurial, and comfortable building channels and processes from scratch.
- Existing agent network is a strong plus, or the resourcefulness to build one quickly.
- Mission-aligned, energized by SafetyWing's goal to create a global social safety net.
- Comfortable operating remotely and collaborating across time zones.
