Head of Marketing at WP Media

Overview

Rank Math is hiring a Head of Marketing to define and execute strategic marketing plans that directly drive revenue growth, product adoption, and brand awareness for the Rank Math WordPress SEO product. This senior, remote leadership role reports to the VP of Marketing for the WordPress Ecosystem and leads a cross-functional marketing team focused on SEO, content, video, and communications. Candidates should be located in a time zone between GMT+3 and GMT-5 to align with team collaboration windows.

What you will do

• Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan aligned to sales and revenue objectives, focused on user acquisition, retention, and brand growth.
• Design and run high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns across content, email, paid channels, and product marketing that generate measurable sales outcomes.
• Optimize onboarding and the customer journey to maximize product adoption and long-term retention.
• Manage the marketing budget to ensure strong return on investment and allocate resources to highest impact initiatives.
• Lead and mentor a team of marketing experts across SEO, content, video, and communications, fostering creativity, executional excellence, and career growth.
• Partner with affiliate and partnerships teams to improve positioning and messaging that drives conversions and sales.
• Continuously analyze market, competitor activity, and WordPress ecosystem trends to inform strategy and product positioning.
• Define metrics for success, monitor performance, and present insights and recommendations to executive leadership.

What we are looking for

• Proven international SaaS or tech marketing experience with a track record of driving revenue and growth at scale.
• Deep SEO expertise and experience addressing the needs of an SEO expert audience.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform strategy, experiments, and optimizations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English, with the ability to influence stakeholders and present executive-level updates.
• Demonstrated leadership experience building and scaling marketing teams, and a hands-on operator mindset.
• Creative, strategic, and able to move quickly in a high-velocity environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in the WordPress ecosystem or engagement with WordCamps and the community.
• Past experience in product-led growth, pricing and packaging experiments, or launching 0 to 1 initiatives.

Location and working model
