About Atticus

At any given time, 16 million Americans face a crisis that requires urgent help from the legal system or government. Atticus simplifies access to life-changing aid for sick or injured people in crisis. Over the last six years we have become a leading platform connecting people with disabilities to government benefits, and we also help victims of accidents, misconduct, and violence obtain insurance compensation. To date we have helped thousands of people access over $4B in aid, supported more than 110,000 clients, and earned 13,000+ five-star reviews. We have raised over $100 million from top VC firms and closed our Series C round in April 2025. We are a mission-driven, certified B Corporation that moves fast while maintaining high standards.

The Job

We are hiring a Growth Lead (Paid Social) to grow the number of clients we serve by building and scaling paid social acquisition. This role blends hands-on paid social campaign execution with strategic growth work: testing new platforms, managing campaigns, partnering with creative, building measurement and data infrastructure, and collaborating with Product and Engineering to improve the client acquisition funnel. You will help shape a scalable acquisition strategy as Atticus expands its market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Launch, optimize, and scale paid social campaigns across platforms to drive client acquisition.
  • Partner with Creative to lead the paid social creative process, from concept and briefs to test roadmaps and creative iteration.
  • Manage contractors or creative agencies to augment internal capabilities as needed.
  • Design and run experiments to improve campaign performance and user conversion across the funnel.
  • Work closely with Product and Engineering to tailor the product experience and measurement for different audiences and channels.
  • Build and maintain data infrastructure and reporting to measure performance, attribution, and ROI.
  • Use quantitative analysis to prioritize tests, inform strategy, and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Mentor team members and collaborate cross-functionally to scale growth efforts responsibly in a regulated marketing environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience at a top digital advertising agency or growth-marketing organization, with progression in responsibility and impact.
  • Strong quantitative skills and comfort working with data analytics and visualization tools.
  • Experience running Google and Meta campaigns and improving paid media performance.
  • Ability to operate autonomously in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and shape strategy from first principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of working well across creative, product, and engineering partners.
  • Deep commitment to Atticus's mission and doing good for people in crisis.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with Looker, SQL, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience designing and producing digital ads or leading creative production.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive pay, equity, and generous benefits. The anticipated base salary band for this role is $130,000 to $155,000, plus equity and benefits. Final salary depends on experience, skills, and internal equity. Benefits highlights include:

  • Medical and dental insurance with 100% of employee premiums covered.
  • 15 vacation days and approximately 19 paid holidays each year, including two weeks at the end of the year.
  • Free membership to OneMedical.
  • $600 per year reimbursable stipend for internet service.
  • $1,000 reimbursable stipend for education and training outside of work.
  • Up to $1,200 per year student loan repayment assistance.
  • 401(k) and optional HSA/FSA.
  • Equity participation and a humble, thoughtful, and smart team culture.

Location and Work Style

This position is fully remote. Live wherever and work remotely; occasional travel to Los Angeles on the company dime may be required for retreats or team gatherings, typically quarterly or yearly. We operate in a regulated marketing environment and expect thoughtful, compliant growth strategies.

Why Join Us

This is a rare chance to join a fast-growing, well-funded startup where your work will have direct impact on people in crisis. You will be part of a mission-driven team that values strategic thinking, experimentation, and a commitment to doing good.
