We design and build high-impact digital products and experiences for major brands including Google, Apple, The New York Times, ESPN, and more. Our teams build scalable web applications and push the boundaries of WordPress and modern JavaScript to craft state-of-the-art web experiences.

What You Will Do

As a Lead JavaScript Engineer you will lead, architect, and build React projects across client and server environments, take ownership of technical estimates, break work into clear executable tasks, and mentor other engineers. You will connect engineering deliverables to client business goals and drive the development of performant, maintainable JavaScript applications used by millions.

• Lead architecture and implementation of React applications for web and server-side environments.
• Estimate JavaScript work, decompose goals into actionable tasks, and drive timely delivery.
• Coach, mentor, and raise the technical bar of the engineering team.
• Align engineering outcomes with client objectives and product strategy.
• Contribute to long-term engineering direction, tooling, and best practices.

About You

• Deep experience building scalable JavaScript applications using ES6+, React, and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of React architecture, state and data management, JSX, component systems, and modern JavaScript tooling.
• Familiarity with WordPress as a platform and PHP concepts including custom post types and taxonomies, and practical experience integrating JavaScript applications with WordPress.
• A portfolio of real-world code samples on GitHub or similar, demonstrating production-grade work.
• Comfort working fully remote and collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills, pragmatic engineering judgment, and a focus on quality and maintainability.
