About the Role

We are hiring a Sales Director focused on Financial Services. This is a hunter role responsible for sourcing, nurturing, and closing new clients that are not inbound leads. You will primarily work with midsize to enterprise-level organizations in banking, insurance, fintech, and investment management.

What You'll Do

  • Hunting: Build strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize and enterprise clients across industries, with a primary focus on Financial Services. Originate and nurture business relationships that result in engagement opportunities. Present BairesDev's value proposition tailored to senior executives and develop deep relationships with potential clients.
  • Project Management: Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that meet client needs and business outcomes. Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets. Organize and mobilize cross-functional teams, including solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery teams, through complex sales cycles. Understand and help manage and mitigate key risks via tactical plans and actions.

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Finance, Banking, Insurance, or Financial Services with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong background in business development, institutional sales, relationship management, or client advisory within the financial services sector.
  • Proven success sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and enterprise accounts within financial services or institutional markets.
  • Excellent understanding of the Financial Services industry, including players, strategies, client structures, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and trends.
  • Strategic, creative, and analytical approach with a focus on initiating and building client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, regulatory compliance technology, trading platforms, and common technological challenges in financial services.
  • Ability to deliver compelling, tailored presentations to potential clients' decision makers.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Native English or fully bilingual in English.
