About the Role

We are hiring a Sales Director with a Retail background. This is a hunter role focused on sourcing, nurturing, and closing new clients that are not inbound leads. You will target midsize to enterprise-level clients in the Consumer vertical, with emphasis on Retail, E-commerce, and Omnichannel businesses.

What You'll Do

Hunting

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with midsize and enterprise clients across industries, primarily in Retail, E-commerce, and Consumer Goods.
  • Originate and nurture business relationships that convert into engagement opportunities.
  • Present BairesDev's tailored value proposition to senior executives and decision makers.
  • Develop deep relationships with potential clients and stakeholders.

Project Management

  • Scope projects, shape engagements, and help define business solutions that satisfy client needs and deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Plan, implement, and manage lead generation, sales activities, and pipelines to meet annual revenue targets.
  • Plan resources and mobilize cross-functional teams including solution design, UX, technical, engagement management, staffing, and delivery throughout complex sales cycles.
  • Identify and help mitigate key risks through tactical plans and actions.

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Consumer Goods sectors with exposure to technology solutions and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong background in business development, key account management, or vendor relations within retail or consumer markets.
  • Proven success sourcing, nurturing, and closing midsize and enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent understanding of the Retail industry, including players, strategies, client structures, business models, sub-verticals, needs, challenges, and trends.
  • Strategic, creative, and analytical mindset with a focus on initiating and building client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of retail systems, customer data platforms, inventory management, and common technological challenges in retail.
  • Ability to deliver compelling, tailored presentations to senior decision makers.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.
  • Native English or fully bilingual in English.
