Team and role summary

You will join the Consumer Product Group to help build the next generation of crypto-forward consumer products, including the Coinbase app, advanced trading, wallets, dapps, and staking. The team focuses on shipping user-facing features that scale to mass market usage and deliver secure, performant, and accessible experiences.

What you’ll be doing

• Design and implement secure, reliable frontend features that integrate with blockchains and support new cryptocurrency assets across Coinbase product lines.
• Build mass-market interfaces for digital currency apps, adding functionality such as staking, voting, and onchain interactions.
• Author infrastructural frontend services that enable secure storage, accounting, and transactional workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and senior leaders to turn product vision into quarterly roadmaps and ship high quality work.
• Write well tested, maintainable code and contribute positively to team culture and meetings.

What we look for in you

• At least 2 years of experience developing web apps and shipping user-facing features with JavaScript and component-based frameworks like React.
• Proven track record of developing and shipping frontend features using component-based UI frameworks.
• Familiarity with frontend architecture best practices, including performance, security, and usability.
• Experience collaborating across product and design lifecycles to deliver shipped features.
• Ability to write high quality, well tested code that meets customer needs.

Nice to haves

• Experience on frontend teams in finance or security sensitive domains.
• At least one year of React Native experience or experience migrating native apps to React Native.
• Crypto-forward experience, including interacting with onchain activity such as Ethereum addresses, ENS, dApps, or other blockchain services.

Role details

Job ID: GCFE04US, Work model: #LI-Remote. Many Coinbase roles are remote-first, though in-person participation is required at times for team or company offsites and events.

Compensation

Pay Range: $152,405 - $179,300 USD, depending on work location. Full time offers include target bonus, target equity, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Coinbase operates a fast paced, high performance culture. While many roles are remote-first, this is not a remote-only position and in-person participation across the year is expected and supported to foster collaboration and alignment.
