About the Role

We are seeking a bold, visionary Global Director of Operations to lead our global workforce of 400+ CAD/CAM Designers across the U.S., Egypt, South Africa, and Costa Rica. This is a senior people leadership role focused on scaling a high-performing, distributed team while shaping how we operate globally. You will partner across recruiting, HR, customer experience, product, training, and engineering to translate strategy into operational execution. International travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership and international oversight - Act as Dandy's senior workforce leader across operational geographies, establish Dandy as an employer of choice, lead legal entity formation, office setup, and regional talent acquisition.
• Workforce development and organizational design - Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse team of 400+ designers and regional managers, design scalable in-person workforce models, and own workforce planning, performance frameworks, and professional development.
• Operational excellence and performance management - Oversee daily workforce operations to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery at scale, implement standardized metrics, and design quality assurance programs tied to customer outcomes.
• Systems thinking and scalability - Build tools, dashboards, and forecasting models for capacity planning and risk mitigation, translate strategic objectives into regional execution plans with clear ownership.
• Culture, coaching and engagement - Build a unified, values-driven culture across time zones, drive leadership development and succession planning, and improve employee engagement and eNPS through feedback and targeted initiatives.

Key Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in operations, workforce leadership, or general management within high-growth, tech-enabled, or service-driven organizations.
• Proven track record scaling and managing large distributed teams across multiple international locations.
• Demonstrated expertise in people leadership, performance management, organizational design, and change leadership.
• Strong business acumen and experience owning KPIs tied to quality, speed, and employee engagement.
• Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, and ability to build trust across diverse teams.
• Highly analytical, systems-oriented thinker comfortable using data to inform operational strategy.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

Nice-to-Have

• Background in technical disciplines such as engineering, QA, manufacturing, math, or physics.
• Experience in legal or regulatory leadership for international markets.
• Familiarity with the dental, medtech, or healthcare industries.
• Prior experience launching new geographies or building vendor ecosystems in emerging markets.
