Role Overview
Atticus is hiring a Recruiter to scale hiring for engineering, design, product, and marketing as the company grows. You will own sourcing, pipeline architecture, hiring manager partnership, and end-to-end candidate experience to help Atticus reach its ambitious hiring goals and expand the team that delivers life-changing legal and benefits aid.

The Job
- Scale hiring - Architect and operate a scalable recruiting pipeline across priority areas including engineering, design, product, and marketing.
- Partner with hiring managers - Work closely with hiring managers to scope roles, build interview plans, and design candidate selection criteria.
- Sourcing and screening - Source passive and active candidates, screen efficiently, and sell Atticus to top talent.
- Candidate experience - Manage scheduling, interview orchestration, and communication to ensure a high quality candidate experience.
- Process building - Create and improve recruiting processes and templates, and contribute to employer brand and conversion strategies.
- Diversity hiring - Build diverse pipelines and implement strategies to attract candidates from underrepresented backgrounds.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of demonstrated success hiring top-tier talent at a startup or high-bar organization, including sourcing, screening, and converting candidates.
- Experience hiring technical roles such as engineers, designers, and product managers, or strong aptitude to learn technical hiring requirements quickly.
- Track record of building diverse candidate pipelines and using measurable strategies to improve hiring outcomes.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and process design skills.
- Passion for mission-driven work and helping people in need.
What Makes This Role Hard
The role focuses on finding top passive candidates for a high-bar organization. You will be building some processes and employer brand from the ground up while partnering closely with hiring leaders to scale hiring rapidly.
Work Model
This role is fully remote. Atticus supports flexible remote work and covers travel to Los Angeles for team gatherings as needed. You may live anywhere and will join a distributed team with regular remote collaboration and periodic in-person events.
Compensation and Benefits
Atticus offers competitive pay, equity, and generous benefits. The anticipated base salary band for this role is $90,000 to $140,000 USD, with final offer based on experience and fit. Benefits include:
- Health Insurance - medical and dental with 100% of employee premiums covered.
- 15 vacation days plus approximately 19 paid holidays per year, including a two-week end-of-year break.

- Home Office Stipend - $600 per year reimbursable for internet service.
- Learning Budget - $1,000 per year reimbursable for education and training.
- Student loan repayment assistance up to $1,200 per year.
