About the Team

The Platform team at Dandy focuses on building a world-class engineering organization by improving developer productivity and happiness. The team creates tools, processes, and infrastructure that enable engineers to ship high-quality software quickly and confidently. We are hiring a skilled engineer who enjoys removing friction from the development lifecycle and creating elegant solutions that make other engineers' lives easier.

What You’ll Do

• Evolve CI/CD platforms to deliver faster, more reliable feedback loops for engineering teams.
• Build and own internal tooling, build systems, and local development environments used across the company.
• Identify, evaluate, and integrate modern tools and practices, including AI-powered assistants, to amplify developer creativity and productivity.
• Lead well-defined, multi-month projects autonomously that deliver measurable improvements to developer workflows and technical quality.
• Collaborate closely with product engineering teams to gather requirements, understand pain points, and deliver solutions they enjoy using.
• Champion best practices for development, testing, and deployment across teams.
• Contribute to the team roadmap and strategy by identifying high-impact improvements and driving delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with a focus on developer experience, infrastructure, or CI/CD.
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD systems such as BuildKite, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
• Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language, for example Python, Go, or Bash.
• A collaborative, customer-obsessed mindset with a passion for improving the developer experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Bonus Points

• Experience building internal developer platforms or portals.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
• Familiarity with observability platforms like Prometheus, Grafana, or Chronosphere.
