About Atticus
At any given time, 16 million Americans are experiencing a crisis that requires urgent help from the legal system or government. Atticus makes it easy for sick or injured people in crisis to get life-changing aid. In six years we have become a leading platform connecting people with disabilities to government benefits and helping victims of accidents, misconduct, and violence get compensation from insurance. To date, we have helped more than 110,000 people, earned 13,000+ five-star reviews, and supported access to over $4 billion in aid. We closed our Series C round in April 2025 and have strong funding and support from top VCs.
We are a small, fast-growing team that expanded from 89 to over 151 last year and expect further growth in 2025. We are a certified B Corporation focused on tackling a major social problem, and our mission drives everything we do.
The Job
We are hiring a Product Manager to craft a product vision and lead execution for our next phase of growth. You will dive deep on strategy, become an expert in our business model and offerings, build roadmaps, and partner with engineering, design, and data teams to ship products that deliver measurable impact for clients and law firm partners.
Responsibilities
- Improve and scale frameworks to match clients to the best law firm in our network based on case, geography, client and firm preferences, and availability, collaborating closely with Data Science to implement solutions.
- Interview partner law firms to prioritize features, and partner with Design and Engineering to create roadmaps and wireframes for product launches.
- Leverage data from our call center and case details to optimize outreach timing and channels throughout the client lifecycle.
- Build a core data platform to support multiple verticals at scale, enabling model-driven decision making and personalization across the funnel.
- Get to know users - both clients and lawyers - to deeply understand their needs and inform product decisions.
- Craft a clear product vision, set strategy, and develop a comprehensive roadmap with alignment from stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Work with engineering and design to build and ship new products and features, acting as the conductor who coordinates and empowers others.
- Own key targets and metrics, collect and analyze data, propose hypotheses, run experiments, and iterate quickly.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of product management experience, building and shipping products at scale.
- Demonstrated success setting product vision and strategy, with the ability to discuss key decisions and tradeoffs thoughtfully.
- Knowledge of product best practices from experience in high-performing organizations, and the ability to instill a strong product culture as we grow.
- Excellent communication and people skills, supported by strong reviews from PMs, engineers, and designers you have worked with.
- Mastery of data platforms and the ability to perform your own analysis to inform decisions.
- A demonstrated commitment to doing good and helping people.
- Bonus: Early-stage startup experience, experience with complex consumer businesses, two-sided marketplaces, and/or B2B products.
Salary and Benefits
We offer competitive pay, including equity, and generous benefits. Examples include:
- Medical and dental insurance with 100% of employee premiums covered.
- Equity and stock option opportunities.
- 15 vacation days and approximately 19 paid holidays each year, including two weeks at the end of the year.
- Free membership to OneMedical.
- $600 per year reimbursable stipend for internet service.
- $1,000 per year reimbursable stipend for education and training outside of work.
- Up to $1,200 per year student loan repayment assistance.
- 401(k) with optional HSA/FSA.
- Humble, thoughtful, smart, and fun colleagues, plus company retreats and thoughtfully planned in-person gatherings.
This job is fully remote and we are committed to empowering everyone with flexibility. Live wherever and work remotely, with occasional company-paid travel to Los Angeles as needed to meet colleagues - roughly between quarterly and yearly. We value in-person interactions for culture building and plan retreats and offsites accordingly.
